Avraham Olesky is an attorney in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, where he focuses his practice on criminal defense, civil litigation, probate litigation, and contract and business disputes. Drawing on a diverse legal background that includes prosecution, military service, and complex civil litigation, Avraham brings a strategic and client-centered approach to every matter he handles. His practice spans a broad range of litigation matters, including criminal defense, personal injury, construction disputes, business litigation, and probate conflicts. While he strives to resolve disputes efficiently and strategically, he is always prepared to take cases to trial when necessary.
Prior to entering private practice, Avraham gained valuable litigation experience working with the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Douglas County, where he conducted legal research and drafted motions in high-profile felony cases. He also serves as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps, where he has prosecuted service members accused of criminal violations, advised Marine Corps generals on legal matters, and authored ethics opinions. Avraham continues to serve as a First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. In addition, he worked with the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project (RMVAP), assisting veterans in obtaining discharge upgrades and disability benefits and other critical services.
A fifth-generation Colorado native, Avraham was born in Colorado Springs. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL where he also completed minors in Naval Science and Psychology. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he was involved in the Student Trial Lawyers Association and the Air and Space Law Society. Outside the practice of law, Avraham enjoys hiking, working out, reading, and spending time outdoors with family.
