Jonathan is an advocate for the power of markets and capitalism when combined with government policies that promote the middle-class above corporatist special interests. Jonathan is a believer in the creative energy of individual citizens and businesses to transform good ideas into reality. With a background in the language of business, Jonathan has experience with all facets of accounting and finance encountered by small and medium sized companies.
Maintaining in-depth knowledge of economics and the markets, combined with a focus on real estate and business law, has resulted in a practice that integrates Jonathan’s affinity for development, design, finance, and the entrepreneurial spirit, both in and out of the courtroom. Jonathan has represented clients in complex litigation covering trusts and estates, business dissolution, land use and development, construction defects, labor and employment disputes, and financial contract disputes. His practice also entails extensive brief writing and an approach where creative solutions and insightful counsel are employed to resolve lawsuits and settle cases before they go to trial. Jonathan’s practice centers on providing sensible and viable solutions that meet clients’ most important objectives of dealing with intense conflict head-on while working to strengthen and improve themselves, their businesses, families, and communities through the trials.
In addition to practicing law, Jonathan can often be found reading, writing, or immersed in adventure, spending time in the great outdoors with his wife and kids, family and friends, with gratitude for John Muir and many others. The mountains are calling and I must go . . .
